Tree Removal Service

Generally, to remove a tree, the arborist climbs the tree with climbing ropes and harness, or we can use a crane or our 60 ft cherry picker removing the limbs from the bottom up, dropping them carefully to the ground in a cleared area. If the tree is close to a home, fence, or other important structure, we rig each limb down, one at a time, with the ground crew stacking the limbs in a safe area.

Once we have removed all the limbs in a section, we cut the trunk and lower it to the ground. In this way, we control the tree removal from the top down.

Stump Grinding

Stump grinding and removal is done with a high-powered stump grinder is brought in to literally grind down the stump, 8-12 inches below ground level.

Beware roots are more than just unsightly, they are frequently the culprits of cracked foundations, sidewalks and driveways, and damaged underground pipes. Older homes are especially prone to tree root damage, as fine root hairs probe for moisture, find the wet clay-based sewer drainage lines, and work at the joints to break apart pipes.

Tree Feeding

The feeding program we recommend for your trees is developed after carefully reviewing your site analysis, soil tests, your tree species, and the age and condition of your specimens.

Our preferred tree feeding method is the liquid root zone injection which delivers nutrients ready for immediate uptake by the tree. When situations warrant it, we also have other methods available as alternate solutions.

Pruning and Trimming

As trees grow, many people underestimate the importance of periodic maintenance. Large, over-weighted branches not only cause huge safety issues.

We are specialized in tree trimming, thinning, reduction, and fine-pruning. We take the time to understand our customers’ needs and explain all the options.
